库赛湖又称“库赛淖尔”，位于青海省玉树藏族自治州治多县索加乡境内东北隅。其地理位置为35&deg37′28″N - 35&deg50′11″N，92&deg35′29″E - 93&deg6′16″E。库赛湖是青藏高原可可西里无人区距离青藏公路最近的大型咸水湖，是可可西里无人区第五大湖泊。它与附近的海丁诺尔盐湖等共同组成可可西里东北部重要的盐渍化湿地区。库赛湖呈西北—东南狭长势态，湖水面积为307.27 km&sup2，湖岸线长138.19 km。库赛湖位于半干旱气候区，年平均温度-5℃左右，年降水量250mm左右，年蒸发量1600mm左右，湖区平均海拔4700 m以上，水源主要依赖于地表径流、冰雪融水和间歇性河流的渗透补给，其中库赛河是直接纳入湖区唯一且最大的地表径流。湖周主要为典型的高寒草原植被，湖体东南角分布有一些盐化草甸。该数据集是在Google Earth遥感卫星影像（2015年）及相关的地图基础上研发完成。数据集以.kmz和.shp格式存储，由15个数据文件组成，数据量为723 KB（压缩为2个文件，292 KB）。

Kusai Lake, also known as "Kusai Nur", is located in the northeastern part of Suojia Township, Zhidoi County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China. Its geographical coordinates range from 35°37′28″N to 35°50′11″N and 92°35′29″E to 93°6′16″E. As the largest saline lake closest to the Qinghai-Tibet Highway within the Hoh Xil uninhabited region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Kusai Lake ranks as the fifth largest lake in the Hoh Xil uninhabited area. Together with nearby lakes such as Haidingnuor Salt Lake, it forms an important salinized wetland in the northeastern part of Hoh Xil. Kusai Lake has a narrow, elongated shape stretching from northwest to southeast, with a water area of 307.27 km² and a shoreline length of 138.19 km. Kusai Lake is situated in a semi-arid climate zone, with an annual average temperature of approximately -5°C, annual precipitation of around 250 mm, and annual evaporation of about 1600 mm. The average elevation of the lake basin is above 4700 m. Its water sources mainly rely on surface runoff, glacial and snow meltwater, and seepage recharge from intermittent rivers, among which the Kusai River is the only and largest surface runoff directly flowing into the lake. The surrounding areas of the lake are mainly covered by typical alpine steppe vegetation, while some salinized meadows are distributed in the southeast corner of the lake body. This dataset was developed based on Google Earth remote sensing satellite images (2015) and related maps. The dataset is stored in .kmz and .shp formats, consisting of 15 data files with a total size of 723 KB (compressed into 2 files with a size of 292 KB).
