Gender differences in traditional knowledge of useful plants in a Brazilian community

This dataset contains all the data used in the paper "Gender differences in traditional knowledge of useful plants in a Brazilian community" published in the journal PlosOne. This dataset was used to test if gender is associated with the diversity, transmission, and structure of traditional ecological knowledge of useful plants, in a Brazilian suburban community (Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil). The data contains information from 33 women and 33 men with respect to the repertory of plant species and the category of use they recognize.
