资源简介:
Database description The study database comprised 185 Spanish relatives of individuals with suicide attempts or suicidal behavior disorder in the past two years. Participants were predominantly women (75.1%), with men representing 24.9%, and their ages ranged from 18 to 73 years (M = 50.26, SD = 10.23). The dataset included sociodemographic variables (age, sex, relationship to the patient, cohabitation status, number of children, educational level, and marital status), as well as clinical indicators referring to both caregivers and their relatives (current psychological or psychiatric problems in caregivers, psychiatric diagnosis of the relative, and recent critical incidents such as suicide attempts, nonsuicidal self-injury, violent episodes, psychiatric emergency room admissions, and running away or temporary disappearances). In addition, the database contained psychological measures assessing both risk and protective factors in caregivers: Depressive symptoms, stress, and anxiety, as indicators of emotional distress. Emotion dysregulation, as a vulnerability factor. Perceived burden (objective and subjective). Meaning in life (MIL), differentiated into satisfaction/meaning and vital goals/purposes. Quality of life. Family empowerment.
