Usage rate of Buy Now, Pay Later services in Japan 2023, by age group

According to a survey conducted in April 2023, the share of consumers using Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services in Japan was highest among people aged 16 to 19 years, at 18 percent. Around 16 percent of respondents in their twenties reported using BNPL services.
