Comprehensive analysis of gene mutations in canine non-regenerative anemia. Canis lupus familiaris

Whole exome sequencing was performed using DNA extracted from bone marrow specimens of dogs affected with non-regenerative anemia and control healthy dogs. Exonic DNA fragments were captured using SureSelect Canine All Exon V2 and sequenced using Nextseq 500. We comprehensively compared the sequences of exon regions of genes between affected dogs and healthy dogs, and we extracted gene mutations only found in affected dogs. Pathway analysis was also conducted using these extracted gene mutations.
