Klebsiella pneumoniae strain:Kp_SE1_NDM_10_2017 Genome sequencing and assembly

This project involved sequencing NDM positive Enterobacteriaceae of various genera and species to look at the NDM plasmids they carried and the extent that these were shared. 'Plasmid outbreaks' where a plasmid transfers between various bacteria is a mechanism by which antibiotic resistance such as carbapenem resistance mediated by bla(NDM) spreads between unrelated bacteria.
