Charles French Geoarchaeological and Micromorphological Reports and Bibliography

This dataset includes the geoarchaeological, micromorphological, and molluscan reports made by Charles French in over 45 years of involvement in excavation and research projects both in the UK and internationally. Over half of the UK the sites and projects included in the archive are located in Cambridgeshire, with the remainder located in other parts of Britain, but especially in southern and eastern England, Yorkshire and Orkney, as well as the Channel Islands. Internationally, the main areas where sites and projects are located are: Chile, Peru, southwestern USA, Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sardinia, Sicily, Hungary), the Balkans, East Africa, India and Kazakhstan.
