Gendered Trade Governance in African Trade Agreements: A Critical Policy Analysis of AfCFTA, SADC and COMESA

This repository contains the underlying data supporting the critical policy analysis, “Gendered Trade Governance in African Trade Agreements: A Critical Policy Analysis of AfCFTA, SADC and COMESA.” The deposited material documents the policy sources analysed, analytical framework, coding dimensions, coded policy extracts, and comparative coding procedure used to examine gender inclusivity, implementation and trade procedures, and economic opportunities across the AfCFTA Agreement, SADC Protocol on Trade, and COMESA Treaty. The study is based exclusively on documentary policy analysis and did not involve human participants or generate participant-level data.
