资源简介:
The data is from a baseline cross-sectional household survey collected from August to September 2022 in the northern regions and districts of Ghana, where the Accelerating Social and Behavior Change (ASBC activity) will be implemented over five years from 2021 to 2026. The baseline dataset included primary caregivers (n=2000) responsible for children under the age of five, encompassing both women and men fulfilling the role of primary caregivers. However, this dataset comprises a subset of 1761 biological mothers of children under five, providing information on exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) practice as reported by the mothers. Additionally, it includes data on socio-demographic characteristics, care-seeking behaviors, and behavioral determinants related to EBF, such as perceived social norms, self-efficacy, and approval of health practices. The questions regarding care-seeking and behavioral determinants were framed concerning the most recent pregnancy or childbirth.
