The Creation of a new model/ identification of contemporary approaches that increase healthcare students who are carers sense of belongingness pre programme, and as they journey towards successful professional registration

<b><i>“WISER Together: Advancing Excellence in Education”</i></b>Our Association of National Teaching Fellows (ANTFS) Presentation. Presented at NMITE, Hereford, the annual ANTF Symposium, May 2025.https://ntf-association.com/annual-symposia/antf-symposium-2025/<b>Aim of Project</b>: The aim of this project is to develop a national inter-university student society for students who are also informal carers (often to family members).<b>Brief overview: </b>The objectives of this are to support their transition and journey into university, to enable them to have informal networks with others in similar situations and to raise the profile of specific issues relevant for these students whilst studying healthcare degrees.
