BSS - Books of the Underground Bank (BRGM)

The BSS lists the MSDSs of all the BSS's works (more than 700,000 described works, combined with more than 2,000,000 pages of technical documents). The Underground Database (BSS) contains raw geological and technical information relating to underground structures: location, object, geological description, technical equipment of the boreholes. The information made available to the public in the documents of the Banque du Sous-Sol (BSS), are communicated by third parties within the framework of the provisions laid down in the Mining Code (arts. 131 to 136). Despite the care that the BRGM takes in collecting this information, it cannot therefore be considered necessarily exhaustive or accurate and the BRGM cannot be held responsible for the consequences of these gaps or inaccuracies for the user. In addition, it should be noted that, given the large number of documents made accessible, there may be inappropriate documents (illegible, poorly positioned, not strictly technical, etc.). In this eventuality, the user will kindly let us know the anomalies he will have encountered. The BSS team will treat these anomalies as a matter of priority.
