Synthetic grid in Pypower format

The synthetic grid represent a network covering HV, MV and LV voltage levels. The MV networks are modeled in two categories, rural and urban feeders. Five LV feeders in each category are modeled in detail, while rest of the LV feeders are represented by equivalent loads. The network is designed from the perspective of power networks commonly found in EU. This network can be used to study the power exchange accross traditional boundaries of TSO and DSO, studying the influence of reactive power control strategies on the voltages and line loading, volt-var control etc.
