FZ 11 - Year 2021 - New registrations of passenger cars by segment and model series

Through the notifications of the registration authorities in Germany, the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) registers all newly registered vehicles in Germany in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR). In addition to the vehicle-related data, such as make, model series, fuel type, vehicle bodywork, information on the holder and the registration process, such as the date of registration, is transmitted. In FZ 11, in addition to the monthly new registrations of passenger cars, the new vehicles registered up to and including the reporting month for the full year are shown by segment and model series as well as the shares of commercial owners. Furthermore, the share of the individual model series in the segment as well as the change compared to the same month of the previous year and the same period of the previous year are shown in percent. Changes in the same month or period of the previous year that exceed 500 percent are shown with X. With the aim of a clear presentation, cut-off limits are formed. The respective reporting month is published.
