The Panchromatic Comparative Exoplanetary Treasury Program
收藏资源简介:
Transiting exoplanet atmospheres are a major topic of research. They allow us tofurther study their atmospheres, with transmission spectroscopy sensitive to theatmospheric composition. Data interpretation and modeling requires detailedknowledge of the incoming stellar radiation, especially in the Xray and UVranges, which drives atmospheric inflation and evaporation, and alters theatmospheric makeup through photochemical processes. We intend to observe asample of exoplanets that are part of an HST program in UV to IR wavelengths. Wewill acquire Xrays data to get a reliable coronal model that allows us tocreate synthetic XUV spectra. This information is vital for photochemical andatmospheric escape models, needed to interpret the atmospheric features to be observed with HST. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
