Study of the RNA expression profile on Xylella fastidiosa subspecies pauca (Xfp) grown in vitro and in planta

A pilot dual RNA-Seq analysis on a highly infected olive tree was performed to obtain information about bacterial infection dynamics and reciprocal host responses at once. The profile of the Xfp gene expression in a naturally infected olive tree were compared to the transcriptome profile obtained from RNA-seq sequencing on Xfp grown in vitro condition.
