The DYNALake project dataset

This dataset has been collected for the project “DYNALake – dynamics of a frozen lake environment” led by the Institute of Seismology at the University of Helsinki and funded by the Research Council of Finland (grant decision numbers 362968 and 359182).

Seismic data were recorded around Lake Pääjärvi near Lammi, Finland, and on its seasonal ice layer during the winter of 2024/2025. The dataset in this repository includes records from 340 three-component geophones, eight broadband seismometers, three accelerometers, one rotational seismometer, a 1 km long distributed acoustic sensing fibre optic cable, a microphone (array), a GPR survey, and in-situ ice thickness measurements.
