MF Radar Wind Profile Data is derived from the MF Radar located at Langfang Observatory which processes the scattered echoes from ionosphere from 60 km to 100 km and calculates the horizontal wind velocity from 60 km to 100 km. This data is from the year 2009 to 2025. MF radar mainly uses the received correlated partial ionospheric reflection signal to invert the atmospheric wind field, that is, the full correlation analysis method. This method assumes the time and space function of the diffraction pattern formed by the radar echo generated by the scatterer on the ground can be represented by a set of ellipsoid functions, then the moving speed of the scatterer can be obtained by measuring the moving speed of the ground diffraction pattern. Using this method, the atmospheric horizontal wind field with a distance resolution of 2 km and a time resolution of 4 min can be finally retrieved in the height range of 60-100 km.
