We report changes in gene expression that take place in human neutrophils following migration from peripheral blood to synovial joints in patients with rheumatoid arthritis Overall design: Neutrophils (purity >97%) were isolated from paired peripheral blood and synovial fluid (SF) from n=3 patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis. RNA was isolated using Trizol and sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform.
