资源简介:
This research demonstrates the effect of the defective cerium oxide additives for low-Pt electrocatalysts on their stability and selectivity in the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) under acidic conditions. Benchmark carbon/Vulcan-supported Pt nanoparticles have been subjected to interfacial modification with defective ceria nanostructures to clarify the influence of the metal oxide additive. The dataset in this collection (excel format) includes data related to the figures in the linked article and obtained during this research. The prepared three-component (Pt, C, CeOx) hybrid catalytic materials have been rigorously characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and near-ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (NAP-XPS). At the same time, the electrocatalytic and general electrochemical properties have been diagnosed using rotating ring-disk electrode (RRDE) voltammetry, chronocoulometry, and gas diffusion electrode methods.
