Curated Sequences for Comparative Analysis of NOD1

<br>Data Files: Retrieve a NOD1 Homo Sapien reference sequence (HGNC:16390). Perform a BlastN on Ensemble, using the Homo sapien NOD1-201 coding sequence (CDS), against other mammals of interest. In this case, we used terrestrial and marine ungulates. “NOD1-201'' is a highly expressed canonical sequence represented across databases, therefore, this is the sequence we used when choosing from splice variants. Select the ortholog with the highest percent identity and nucleotide length from the blast results. Then, align sequences with gaps removed using MUSCLE in Aliview alignment software.<br>
