Lungfish fossils: a georeferenced database

The dataset includes the occurrence data of fossil lungfish for the Late Triassic stratigraphic frame. Each record (fossil lungfish occurrence) includes geographical coordinates, stratigraphic position, palaeoenvironmental information, and taxonomy of found remains. The data were collected via the literature survey, thus each record has literature references provided.The dataset consists of three objects: a geopackage file, xlsx file, and txt readme file. The geopackage and xlsx files contain identical information except the references present only in the xlsx file. The geopackage file is ready for direct upload into a GIS environment.
