This dataset encompasses miRNA and target gene expression profiles obtained from preconditioned extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) treated with hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) in a biliary atresia (BA) rat liver model. Biliary atresia is a severe neonatal liver disease characterized by inflammation and obliteration of bile ducts, leading to liver cirrhosis. The dataset includes detailed miRNA sequencing data and gene expression analysis from rat liver tissues treated with these preconditioned EVs. This study aims to explore the therapeutic potential and underlying molecular mechanisms of HGF-preconditioned EVs from UC-MSCs in ameliorating liver damage in BA.
