In the past few days the city of Townsville, Australia has been hit by severe rain. The situation is expected to continue for the next two days reaching its peak on Sunday 3rd of February, so more water will be released from the Ross River Dam. Several zones have been already flooded, and many more homes will be evacuated in the suburbs. The Authorities declared Townsville and its surroundings a disaster area.<br>
