资源简介:
Staff from the New York State Museum’s Cultural Resources Survey Program (NYSM-CRSP) conducted a cultural resource survey under an inter-agency agreement with the NYS Department of Transportation (DOT) in October of 2010 under DOT PIN 1085.39.101. This report presents the information gathered during this survey. This survey was conducted according to the State Education Department’s (SED) revised Work Scope Specifications for Cultural Resource Investigations on New York State Department of Transportation Projects (March 2004), under an interagency Memorandum of Agreement between the New York State Department of Transportation and the State Education Department. The field notes and field maps are curated in the offices of the Cultural Resources Survey Program of the New York State Museum. The current project is located along NY 146 between Blue Barns Rd. and NY 146A in the town of Clifton Park, Saratoga County, New York. Tanya Thorne, the DOT Region 1 Cultural Resource Coordinator supplied the project forms, maps, and limits. The Phase I field work was performed by Amy Lynch, Christopher Sobik, Crystal McDermott, Amanda Knapp, Tim Hummel, Caroline Margolies, Sean Higgins, Sean O’Brien, Marx Navarro Castillo, Steve Moragne, Joel Ross, and members of the Public Archaeology Facility (PAF) at SUNY Binghamton. John Pasquini supervised laboratory processing and cataloging and Jessie Pellerin prepared the project maps.
