Sinoe ® — 2016 Yearbook of Non-Hazardous Waste Storage Facilities (NHWSP)

ADEME coordinates the observation of household and similar waste with actors in the region (local observatories, regional councils, treatment unions...), and ensures the compilation of local data in the SINOE ® Waste tool. The waste in question is Household and Assimilated Waste (DMA) collected by the Public Service for the Prevention and Management of Waste (SPPGD). They therefore include a share of waste generated by economic activities. Based on the data from the “Collecte” survey collected at the level of each competent Public Institution for Inter-municipal Cooperation (EPCI), the indicators are broken down at the level of each municipality before aggregation by department, region and national level. The calculation is based on a principle of the distribution of tonnage collected by an inter-municipal structure over its municipalities served. This calculation is carried out with and without rubble for each collection service and every piece of waste surveyed. Source survey ITOM 2016
