This dataset contains behavioral and fMRI data collected during a Balloon Analogue Risk Task (BART), a widely used paradigm to assess risk-taking behavior.
The behavioral data include trial-by-trial measures such as reward, pump count, explosion, and reaction time (RT), recorded from participants while performing the BART inside the scanner.
The fMRI data have been preprocessed and reduced to ROI-level signals. Specifically, we extracted the average BOLD signal time series from 200 predefined brain regions of interest (ROIs) using a standard parcellation scheme (http://neurovault.org/images/39711). These ROI features are provided in .csv format, with each file corresponding to one participant. Each row represents a time point, and each column represents an ROI.
Contents:
/behavioral/: Trial-level behavioral data in CSV format (one file per participant).
/fmri_roi/: Preprocessed fMRI data, extracted as ROI-level time series in CSV format (one file per participant).
Participants:
The dataset includes data from N =155 healthy participants, recruited from Southwest University, China.
Usage Notes:
This dataset is intended for use in research on risk-taking, decision-making, and neural correlates of behavior. Users are encouraged to cite this dataset using the provided DOI.
