This series registers licences to occupy land issued under Section 86 of the Land Act 1915 (the occupation of land in auriferous areas) and Section 138 Land Act 1958 (occupation of land for a wide variety of purposes).Details given are the number of the licence and the correspondence or file number, the allotment and section of the land and the town or parish where it was located, the extent, the name of the licensee, the date of the licence and the date when issued and to whom it was delivered.
