Expression profile and clinical significance of miRNAs at different stages of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) in Chinese patients

In order to determine the microRNAs profile in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) from severe febrile with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus infection and investigate possible diagnostic value of these differential microRNAs. The blood samples of SFTS and healthy people were collected. Differential miRNAs were screened by miRNA microarray analysis, and the expression of selected miRNAs were validated by quantitative reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction assays (qRT-PCR).
