Modelling of RC Walls and RC Wall Buildings

This project consists of two studies. The first is an OpenSees model calibration study, where a modelling approach is developed to model RC walls, particularly to capture deformation capacity. The second study is a building analysis study to determine the performance of an archetype RC wall building located in Wellington, New Zealand. This study utilizes the modelling recommendations from the calibration study and analyses the building over several hazard levels (multiple-stripe analysis) to investigate the probability of various damage states Further information on both studies can be found at: Shegay, A.
