EU ETS verified emissions from all stationary installations 2005-2023

Greenhouse gas emissions from all stationary installations covered by the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) decreased 22 percent in 2023, to 1,089 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO₂e). Stationary installation ETS emissions have decreased by over 50 percent since the EU ETS launched in 2005.
