After three years of forest fire, rhizosphere soils were collected from a burned holm-oak field and a control one. DNA was extracted within the 24 hours of sampling and it was sequenced in a high-througput method using HiSeq2000 PE 2x101 technology. About 180 million metagenomic raw reads were obtained from each sample.
