Neonatal Mortality Rate

This indicator measures the mortality rate of newborns during the early period after birth, covering deaths that occur from the day of birth up to less than 28 days of age. The rate is presented by nationality, Qataris and Non-Qataris, and is divided into early neonatal mortality from 0 to 7 days, late neonatal mortality from 7 to 28 days, and post-neonatal mortality after the neonatal period. This indicator is used to assess newborn health and the quality of healthcare provided immediately after birth.
