The dataset is derived from the study "Palpation and ultrasound imaging of contraction of deep abdominal muscles. A descriptive, exploratory study of concurrent validity" conducted by Haldis Haug Dahl for a master thesis at Section for Physiotherapy Science, University of Bergen. The study aimed to compare palpation and ultrasound imaging of contraction of deep abdominal muscles. Also, it aimed to explore the possibilities ultrasound imaging may provide for measuring different aspects of muscle functioning.
