Mouse gut microbiome samples in a DSS-induced colitis model

This data includes 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing of fecal and cecal samples from dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis model mouse experiment. The aim was to investigate whether colonizing mice with E. coli strain expressing the biosynthetic gene cluster ecf (ecf+) or an isogenic strain harboring an empty vector control (ecf-) alters the microbiome composition.
