资源简介:
An annual trawl survey is conducted in the eastern Bering Sea to determine the distribution and abundance of crab and groundfish resources. This report summarizes survey results for commercially important crabs. It is intended to aid fishermen and processors in locating productive grounds and judging overall availability of various species. Survey derived data are also used as part of the basis for management decisions. Red king crab (Paralithodes camtschatica), blue king crab (P. platypus), Korean hair crab (Erimacrus isenbeckii), and two species of tanner crabs (Chionoecetes bairdi and C. opilio) are of primary interest. Hybrid tanner crab are also discussed. by R.S. Otto, R.A. Macintosh, K.L. Stahl-Johnson, and S.J. Wilson. "October 1983." Tables.
