The transcriptomic response of M. bovis BCG to vanoxerine (GBR12909). Vanoxerine's impact on the M. bovis BCG transcriptome

This study was undertaken to understand the transcriptomic response of M. bovis BCG to treatment with two concentrations of vanoxerine (GBR12909). M. bovis BCG, grown to OD600 = 0.4, was treated with either DMSO, 15 or 30 microgram per ml vanoxerine for 8 hours. The cells were pelleted and flash frozen for RNA-sequencing. The extraction, sequencing and transcriptomic mapping was performed by Genewiz (Azenta Life Sciences).
