Jiryes Farhat to Suleiman Farhat, 25 September 1934

The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. <br>In this letter Jiryes Farhat writes this letter to his son Suleiman Farhat in California. Jiryes ask Suleiman to 'use his head' and move back to Ramallah soon. He warns that his health is deteriorating and asks Suleiman to send money for George's school fees. At this stage Katrina Sa'ade and Fred Farhat (Katrina and Suleiman's son) had moved back to California to join Suleiman, leaving George with his grandparents after a dramatic departure.<br>These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
