Reed Canal basin stormwater improvement project through treatment wetland construction in South Daytona, Florida from 2017-10-01 to 2019-12-31

The dataset includes project design (engineering rendering), permit applications and approval documents, construction bids, photos of the retrofit installation and completion, the documents for public education through the Protect Our Lagoon Academy (POLA), the original proposal, matching funds documents, a promotional video, as well as the final report. In this project, an existing pond was modified by construction which involved removal of debris and litter, lowering of elevation of the pond, planting of flood tolerant native plants that could remove nutrients and monitoring water quality parameters.
