资源简介:
Dickeya zeae is the causal agent of devastating rot disease on maize, rice, banana and clivia. The bacteria pathogen produces antibiotics-like phytotoxins called zeamines, significantly inhibiting the rice seeds germination. We screened out a zeamines-deficient mutant with a Tn5 insertion in a gene designated as vfmI encoding a two-component system (TCS) sensor histidine kinase (HK). Furthermore, its cognate response regulator (RR) VfmH was identified nearby. RNA-seq results identified the downstream regulated genes of VfmH, including down-regulated vfm genes, zms genes, T1SS, T2SS, T3SS, T6SS genes, flagellar genes and CWDE genes.
