资源简介:
This study aimed at understanding the impact of infection by a pathogen Brachyspira pilosicoli and its treatment by an antibiotic tiamluin on the composition of the cecal microbiota. This study contains data for three groups of chickens samples at three time points. A control group that received no treatment. An infected group that was infected by B. pilosicoli via oral gavage at the beginning of the study. A third group infected by B. pilosicoli and then treated one week later with an antibiotic (tiamulin). Cecal content were collected at 3 post-mortem time (T1) just after the end of the infection period (day 5); (T2) samples collected at the end of the antibiotic treatment period (day 12); (T3) samples collected 2 weeks after the end of the antibiotic treatment period.
