This project employs high-throughput sequencing to investigate the diversity and community structure of functional genes involved in denitrification, specifically nirK, nirS, and nosZ. DNA samples were enzymatically fragmented, end-repaired, adapter-ligated, purified, and amplified via PCR. The resulting gene fragments were sequenced using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. This study aims to elucidate the impact of different organic fertilizers on the diversity and composition of denitrifying microbial communities, providing valuable insights into soil nitrogen cycling and microbial ecology.
