Study on the mechanism of acid inhibition of anaerobic digestion alleviated by ultra-low-frequency alternating current

Highly concentrated organic wastewater has always been a challenge in industrial treatment processes, these wastewaters have a high COD content and need to be treated before they can be discharged into the environment. However, these wastewaters contain a large amount of chemical energy, which, properly recovered, can improve the energy balance of the process. This residual energy content can be utilised through biological treatment, of which anaerobic digestion (AD) is the most prominent
