Metabolic and Genome-Alignment data from: Mitochondria as central characters in a complex narrative: Linking genomics, energetics, pace-of-life, and aging in natural populations of garter snakes

The files contain mitochondrial genome alignments, as well as cellular and whole-organism oxygen-consumption rates for garter snakes inhabiting Lassen County, California. <br>These data were collected using a Sable Systems Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide analyzer, an Agilent Seahorse XFe24 extracellular flux analyzer, and Illumina HiSeq 3000 sequencer.<br>These data support the analyses and results within the article "Mitochondria as central characters in a complex narrative: Linking genomics, energetics, pace-of-life, and aging in natural populations of garter snakes."
