Mould insert part metrology dataset

The data set includes quality measurements taken on a ATOS ScanBox BPS 3D scanner of a mould insert test part that was produced 16 times. The test part contains two type of milling features: cylindrical inside fillets and parting surfaces. The data set has columns: Element, Nominal, Actual, Dev, Pocket, TP, Corner, Direction, tool_state. Element is associated with the type of milling feature. Nominal states the desired tolerance value in the units [mm] (fillets) and [radians] (parting surfaces). Actual is the meaured value. Dev describes the deviation between nominal and measured value. Pocket identified the associated pocket. TP identified the associated test piece. Corner identifies the associated corner. Direction specifies the placement of the feature in XYZ direction. tool_state indicates the associated tool state.
