This project investigates the dynamics of rhizosphere fungal communities and their associations with soil nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) cycling across a stand age gradient (young, mid-aged, near-mature, and mature stages) in Larix kaempferi plantations. Rhizosphere soil samples were collected from forests representing four developmental stages. Fungal community composition was characterized using ITS amplicon sequencing. Raw sequence data were generated using high-throughput sequencing and processed for downstream diversity, community structure, molecular ecological network, and functional prediction analyses. The dataset provides insights into age-related shifts in soil physicochemical properties, fungal community structure, and functional genes associated with N and P cycling in plantation ecosystems.
