资源简介:

Hypothesis: Attached ear lobule can bear more load than free lobule due to the larger area of attachment adding to its strength Observation from data: The strain or displacement of lobule after a fixed load is mounted on the tool hanging from the ear hole in a free lobule is more than the attached lobule and hence the young's modulus of the free lobule is less than that of the attached variety explaining the disparity in the strength. This helps us t understand that since the attached lobule has more young's modulus compared to the free variety , the subjects of attached lobule face lesser ear lobule deformities like split ear hole or enlarged ear hole for the same load or weight (weight of the jewellery worn in the ear lobule) as compared to that of the free variety. This study was done using a self designed tool to measure the displacement of the ear lobule when subjected to a load.
