Mexico: population suffering social deprivations 2014-2018, by type

In 2018, the lack of access to social security was the most common social deprivation that citizens in Mexico were facing. Based on the number of people who were estimated to be socially deprived in 2018, 15.8 percent were included in that category due to their lack of access to basic housing services. In the past few years, food deprivation has become slightly less common, as 15.4 percent of the Mexican population suffering deprivations struggled with undernourishment in 2018, whereas that share reached 16.2 percent in 2014.

2018年，墨西哥公民面临的最普遍的社会剥夺问题是社会保障的缺失。根据对2018年估计的社会剥夺人数进行分析，其中15.8%的人因无法获得基本住房服务而属于这一类别。在过去的几年中，食物剥夺现象略有减少，2018年墨西哥遭受剥夺的15.4%人口中，有营养不良问题，而在2014年这一比例达到了16.2%。
