资源简介:
This dataset provides high-pressure friction measurements obtained using the tribometer described by Massion et al. [1] , focusing on a copper-steel tribological couple. Static and kinematic friction coefficients were measured for oxygen-free copper specimens sliding against Z160CDV12 hardened steel (56 HRC) dies under normal pressures of 125 and 500 MPa. The influence of surface roughness was investigated using three distinct die surface conditions: milled, ground, and mirror-polished. All tests were conducted under dry contact conditions at room temperature and under displacement-controlled loading with a constant sliding speed of 5 mm/min. Two sliding protocols were applied: single pass sliding and cyclic sliding, allowing the characterization of friction evolution as a function of sliding distance and loading history. The dataset includes measurements of normal and tangential forces, displacement, applied pressure, and calculated friction coefficients.
