Dataset for "Anatomy of the Shallow Dynamic Transition from Fresh to Saline Groundwater at Coastal Margins: From Ground Penetrating Radar Attenuation to Pore Fluid Chemistry"
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the synthetic and field geophysical data used in the study “Anatomy of the Shallow Dynamic Transition from Fresh to Saline Groundwater at Coastal Margins: From Ground Penetrating Radar Attenuation to Pore Fluid Chemistry.” Synthetic Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) responses were generated using ReflexW across a range of formation conductivities representative of freshwater and brackish groundwater conditions. These synthetic models were used to quantify amplitude attenuation as a function of formation conductivity. The dataset also includes the field GPR profiles collected in a zig-zag acquisition pattern across the freshwater–brackish transition zone at the coastal study site, along with the corresponding ERI (Electrical Resistivity Imaging) raw measurements, electrode elevation data, and the ResIPy inversion project files used to derive the formation resistivity section for validation. Additionally, amplitude values (for both synthetic and field GPR) and the attenuation–conductivity calculation excel sheet used to produce the figures in the manuscript are provided. All files are supplied to ensure reproducibility of the modelling workflow, attenuation analysis, and hydrogeophysical interpretation presented in the paper.
