Source registries of two structured reviews: competition among digital intermediaries (2024–2026) and media platformization (2017–2026)

Source registries and search logs of two structured critical reviews underlying the article “The Transformation of Gatekeeping under Media Platformization: The Limits of Generative AI Companies’ Claims to the Role of Digital Gatekeepers (2024–2026)” (Philology: Scientific Researches, under review, 2026). Review A covers competition among digital intermediaries — generative assistants, search engines and platforms — in publications from 23 September 2024 to 23 September 2026 (89 records; each record states publication date, data period, method, main finding, limitations, access level and platform affiliation). Review B, “Generative AI platforms and the media business: a critical review of academic, institutional and professional literature, 2017–2026”, covers the platformization of media production and journalism (91 documents, including 41 academic publications — not 91 independent empirical studies; each record states research question, method and sample, findings, limitations and an evidence assessment). Both are structured critical reviews with elements of a scoping review, not PRISMA 2020 systematic reviews. Full texts of sources are not included. The article additionally uses theoretical works and point data collected separately before the September 2026 cut-off; these appear in its reference list, not in the registries.
